The Burger 180' Motor Yacht

The Burger 180’ Motor Yacht, currently under construction is an exciting example of Burger’s creativity. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3512C IMO Tier II engines, she has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots without the need for the costly SCR’s required on Tier III engines. In addition, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht features spaces that are typically found on much larger yachts including:

  • Tender garage housing a 37’ Tender
  • Anchor Handling Deck keeping the anchor handling gear situated below the foredeck
  • 19’ long pool/hot tub
  • Area for state-of-the-art exercise equipment, which is discretely stowed when not in use on the Sun Deck
  • The ability to protect from weather to areas of the Sun Deck and aft Bridge Deck

Designed with entertainment, technological advances, reliability, and worldwide cruising with family and friends in mind, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht offers many mechanical firsts in yachting. Her electrical generation system has been developed to ensure adequate power in all situations. With nine (9) Kohler 40kW generators installed in parallel, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht's power generation system offers maximum efficiency and redundancy while ensuring that no generator ever runs underloaded. To provide maximum comfort at sea, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht incorporates Naiad Dynamics Four Fin, Zero Speed Stabilization System

The tender garage provides the opportunity to stow up to a 37’ tender which is launched via a hydraulic “stinger” system. With this system, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht's tender is safely stowed, and the need for towing, and its associated hazards, eliminated.

“This yacht was created to offer something extra special to those who wish to live the Limitless lifestyle. With her stunning profile, extraordinary features, and renowned Burger attention to detail, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht is an exceptional yacht, one we are excited to introduce to the world.”

Jim Ruffolo, Burger’s President & CEO

The Burger 180’ Motor Yacht was designed with entertainment, technological advances in comfort, reliability, and worldwide cruising with family and friends in mind. Her all-aluminum hull was thoroughly evaluated via Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which was further confirmed through vigorous tank testing at the Wolfson Unit in the UK. Wake Adaptive Running Gear, specifically developed for the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht, helps further ensure efficient and quiet operation.

The Burger 180’ Motor Yacht also offers many mechanical firsts in yachting. To provide maximum comfort at sea, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht incorporates Naiad Dynamics Four Fin, Zero Speed Stabilization System, and Naiad’s Total Ride Control® system. The Total Ride Control® system incorporates integral Trim Tabs and a hydraulically actuated T-Foil. Working in conjunction, the Trim Tabs and T-Foil provide a significant reduction in vessel pitch in a seaway.

Stowed in a tender garage is a 37’ tender which is launched via a hydraulic “stinger” system. With this system, the Burger 180’ Motor Yacht's tender is safely stowed, and the need for towing, and its associated hazards, eliminated.

On the foredeck is the yacht’s Touch-and-Go Helicopter pad. Below the foredeck is the Anchor Handling Deck where all anchor handling gear is situated. For ease of anchor deploying and retrieval, port and starboard Anchor Viewing Platforms are installed. This area also provides storage for two personal watercrafts.

Built for Luxury

The Burger 180’s layout is a result of the Burger team working closely with the talented group at Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects and features expansive interior and exteriors spaces for her owner and guests.

Boarding the yacht from the stern mounted passarelle, guests are greeted on her expansive aft deck, which includes a large seating area, wet bar, and day head. This area also provides direct access to the Main Salon, Tender Bay, and via a circular stairway on centerline, the aft Bridge Deck. Easy access to the swim platform is provided alongside the Tender Bay.

The Main Salon is an open area for more formal entertaining and dining experiences. The dining table has been designed to be easily expanded from an intimate dining experience for four (4) up to 12 guests. Large windows provide a feeling of openness while enjoying time with your company. A large handicap accessible elevator is provided to allow guests easy access to all four decks.

Forward on the main deck, the Burger 180’ features a full beam owner’s suite with an adjoining and spacious private office. Guest accommodations for up to ten (10) guests in four (4) staterooms, all with very large windows to bring in natural light and scenic views, are situated on the lower deck. These staterooms are easily converted into two family suites. The guest spaces are serviced via discrete access from the crew laundry. Consideration for handicap accessibility has been incorporated throughout the yacht.

The Skylounge is deliberately less formal and offers a large bar and entertainment area for relaxation with friends and family. The Skylounge opens to the aft Bridge Deck which is an exceptional area for outdoor dining, entertaining, or relaxation. The aft Bridge Deck can also be enclosed and air conditioned during inclement weather. Forward on the Bridge Deck is the Pilothouse, Yacht’s Office, and Captain’s Stateroom. For those who wish to watch the action while outdoors, the Burger 180’ features a large circular seating area forward of the Pilothouse.

The expansive Sundeck is almost 75 feet long and offers many areas for outdoor enjoyment. While the large bar on centerline is the focal point, an 18’-6” long pool accommodating up to 12 is positioned aft. When desired, the pool can be easily partitioned into a pool and a hot tub at the same time. The Sundeck also offers a large area for fresh air, or air-conditioned work-outs, with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, all of which can be discretely stowed when not in use. Moving forward along the starboard side, is a day head and access to the yacht’s all level elevator and main stairwell. Situated all the way forward is an additional raised seating area port and starboard, and on centerline, three individual forward looking chairs, all providing beautiful 270⁰ vistas.

Her professional galley is designed for the most demanding needs and long-range cruising. The galley features commercial equipment as well as direct access to the skylounge service pantry, large walk-in refrigerator, walk-in freezer, and walk-in pantry. The crew has easy access to their accommodations without disturbing the chef.

The crew accommodations, while accommodating up to 13, is designed to provide private staterooms for the yacht’s Captain (Queen berth on the Bridge Deck), and single berths for the Chief Engineer, Chef, and Chief Stewardess. In addition, a large lounge and relaxation area with large windows to provide natural light, is provided.
