Constructing a commercial vessel requires a team that thoroughly understands engineering, construction and maintenance. Burger’s knowledge of the necessary elements of the design and construction process enables them to work with your existing plan or to develop a solution for your specific project and business needs.
The construction process begins with the client’s design package. When the vessel’s requirements have been determined the designers and engineers will specify the vessel’s details, including standards for materials, systems and equipment. The Burger production team, utilizing Lean construction practices, then builds a quality vessel to the specified requirements.
Burger’s modern full-service facility, featuring a 500 metric ton MARINE TRAVELIFT®, eight large heated construction bays, 465' (142m) of seawall with utility pedestals, environmentally controlled joiner facility and a highly skilled work-force, makes Burger the logical choice for new construction, refit, repair and maintenance.
